Why the same dollar buys different amounts
Roblox prices Robux on a sliding scale. The smallest package works out to about 81 Robux per dollar; the largest gets you around 113. Same currency, roughly 39% difference in what you receive.
One thing still changes the maths: buying inside the iOS or Android app costs more, because Apple and Google take a platform fee that Roblox passes on. The website is the cheaper route.
What no longer changes it is a membership bonus. Roblox Premium closed to new subscribers on April 30, 2026 and was replaced by Roblox Plus. The 10% bonus on Robux purchases ended for everyone on May 30, 2026. Roblox Plus is a discount model — 10% off eligible purchases, rising to 20% from the third consecutive month — and it does not add Robux to a purchase.
One thing worth knowing before you spend: Robux you buy is not the same as Robux you earn. Purchased Robux can be spent anywhere on the platform, but it can never be cashed out for money.
