How we verify every number
Four rules. They're the reason you can check our work instead of trusting it.

1. Primary sources only
Rates, fees, thresholds and dates come from the organisation that sets them: Roblox Creator Hub documentation, Roblox investor filings, the IRS, or the equivalent tax authority for other countries. Forum posts and community wikis are useful for finding out that something changed — they are never the source we cite for what it changed to.
2. One data file, zero hard-coded numbers
Every figure on this site is read at build time from a single file. No page contains a typed-in rate. When Roblox changes something, one edit propagates everywhere — the calculators, the tables, the FAQ answers, the meta descriptions, and the verification stamps.
This is a deliberate structural choice. Sites that hard-code numbers into pages accumulate stale figures they will never find again.
3. Visible verification dates
Anything containing a rate or policy figure carries a "last verified" stamp, generated from the data file. If the stamp is old, that is information, not decoration. We treat a stale stamp as a bug.
4. When we can't confirm something, we label it
Some things are genuinely not published. Roblox does not publish a rate change archive, and it does not publish per-method payout fees. Where we present a figure that comes from community documentation rather than a primary source, it is visually marked as such — see the older entries in the rate history table.
We would rather show you a labelled gap than a confident invention.
What we check, and when
- Weekly: Roblox announcement channels and Creator Hub documentation changelogs for rate or policy movement.
- On any change: the data file is updated the same day, the site rebuilds, and subscribers get an email.
- Monthly: a full pass over every figure, refreshing the verification stamps.
- Annually, each December: tax year figures and thresholds re-checked against current guidance.
